About The Position
Ebenezer is looking for a Housekeeper to join our senior cooperative team at Village Coop of Cedar Rapids in Cedar Rapids, Iowa! This position provides a clean, safe and odor free environment for residents, staff and visitors. Cleans assigned areas of the building.

Responsibilities
- Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors.
- Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time.
- Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed.
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
- Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions.
- Safely executes housekeeping tasks, such as the proper way to bend, push, pull and lift.
- Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc.
- Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis.
- Keeps supplies and tools locked at all times.
- Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked.
- Communicates need for equipment repairs.
