About The Position

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning equipment, walls, floors and pipes, either by hand or using scrubbers and high-pressure cleaning equipment. In this role you will also sanitize, disassemble and re-assemble equipment, do general housekeeping. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Ability to safely operate floor scrubbers and high-pressure cleaning equipment. Knowledge of safe chemical usage and transportation. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
• All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in this facility.
