About The Position
Richmond Community Services, a leading nonprofit provider supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Westchester County, is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our Yonkers Day Program location. This is a part-time position (15 hours/week) with a consistent schedule of 7a - 10am. Join a mission-driven organization and help create a clean, safe environment for staff and the individuals we serve.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving experience & successful completion of Richmond’s Driver Authorization process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of commercial housekeeping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, common areas, restrooms, and program spaces
- Perform routine cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
- Restock supplies and ensure a sanitary, welcoming environment
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
