About The Position

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper for its Johns Creek, Georgia team. The Housekeeper maintains a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for clients, staff, and visitors while following safety protocols and managing time effectively. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting facility areas, handling waste and housekeeping supplies, tracking and storing inventory and chemicals, receiving deliveries, and maintaining knowledge of applicable safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of basic housekeeping tools and materials, SDS/MSDS guidelines, and standard safety protocols.
• Ability in basic writing, organization, inventory documentation, and effective time management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and professional decorum.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry cleaning equipment or supplies up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Valid driver’s license with a record of responsible driving.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, floors, counters, and showers according to facility guidelines.
• Vacuum carpets; sweep and mop floors; and dust woodwork, doorways, and high-touch areas.
• Regularly empty trash cans, recycling bins, and disposal receptacles throughout the facility.
• Restock paper towels, soap, toilet tissue, and other essential supplies in client rooms, common spaces, and high-traffic areas.
• Identify, track, rotate, and safely store housekeeping inventory and chemicals.
• Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and proper usage of cleaning agents.
• Receive, document, and properly store incoming deliveries and housekeeping inventory.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant OSHA regulations, standard safety practices, and environmental compliance standards.
