About The Position

As a Housekeeper at Epworth Villa, a faith-based, non-profit Life Plan Community, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Your work directly contributes to the mission of "Enhancing Lives so People Thrive" by ensuring resident apartments and community spaces are fresh, clean, and inviting. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean spaces and enjoy helping others feel cared for.

Requirements

• Comfortable speaking and writing in English
• Able to follow safety and cleanliness procedures
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand for long periods, and handle heavier items as part of daily duties

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
• Maintain residents’ apartments on a set schedule
• Dust, move furniture, and clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and draperies
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills
• Empty wastebaskets, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
• Transport trash and waste to disposal areas
• Restock bathroom supplies
• Perform emergency pull-cord testing
