About The Position

The Piper Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of their elegant community. This role involves cleaning vacant and occupied resident apartments, as well as common areas, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is always maintained. The Housekeeper will be responsible for following cleaning schedules, reporting any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor, managing cleaning supply inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness of laundry and housekeeping rooms. The community emphasizes that residents and families should feel valued, cared for, and at home, with the Housekeeper playing a key role in this atmosphere.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• Associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
• Senior living or hospitality background a plus
• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
• Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
• Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
• Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
• Other duties as assigned.
