About The Position

The Piper Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in their work. This role is crucial in maintaining the pristine condition of the community, from lounges and garden areas to resident apartments, ensuring residents and families feel valued, cared for, and at home. The primary responsibility is to clean vacant apartments for move-in, clean occupied apartments weekly, and maintain the cleanliness of common areas according to a schedule, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
Senior living or hospitality background a plus
Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage your time independently
Warm, respectful demeanor around residents and families
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
Other duties as assigned.
