About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Evening Housekeeper/Utility cleaner to join their team. This full-time position involves cleaning and maintaining all hotel public areas, including guest rooms, restrooms, hallways, and stairwells to meet quality standards. The role requires attention to detail in dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Additionally, the position may involve delivering items to rooms, assisting with guest room cleaning as needed, and participating in deep cleaning projects. Requirements

Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to stand majority of shift, bend, push, and/or lift up to 25-35 pounds
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests
Knowledge of cleanliness standards
Push & pull Carts weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling items up to 75 pounds
Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
Frequently handling cleaning objects and equipment to maintain the facility
Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including guest rooms who have LATE Check-outs, all 4 public restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
Cleans public bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
Empties all trash
Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
Clean Guest rooms on an “As-Needed” basis. Example- Early C/O, Guest complaint, Room Moves
Report to supervisor on duty any needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards
Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels
Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel
Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedures
Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed Other duties as assigned
