This position is responsible for cleaning public and employee restrooms and showers, cleaning glass in public and employee areas, and cleaning floor surfaces in public or employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The role also involves dusting surfaces in assigned areas, emptying trash containers, inspecting furniture for damage, cleaning and maintaining lights, and posting caution signs when necessary. The attendant will also be responsible for contacting other departments for urgent repairs, responding promptly to guest and department requests, and identifying and reporting maintenance issues. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all company and safety policies, proper storage of flammable materials, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The attendant must also welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation. Communication skills, teamwork, and quality adherence are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance, push and pull machinery, reach overhead and below the knees, and perform various movements like bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visual inspection of tools and equipment, manipulation of objects requiring fine motor skills, and movement through confined or elevated spaces are also part of the job. The attendant will also move up and down a ladder and stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
