About The Position
A family in Capitola, CA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper with infant care experience to provide long-term, biweekly household support. While housekeeping is the primary responsibility, the family is also hoping to build a relationship with someone who can provide occasional backup childcare in the future as their infant grows and transitions into daycare. The home is a smoke-free environment, approximately 1,100 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The family has one friendly, medium-sized non-shedding dog.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience required
- Experience caring for infants
- Comfortable around dogs
- Reliable and trustworthy
- English required
- Must pass a background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Japanese language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning and general housekeeping throughout the home
- Laundry and household organization as needed
- Meal preparation or light cooking preferred, but not required
- Build rapport with the family's infant to provide occasional backup childcare when needed in the future
- Provide a warm, dependable presence for the family over the long term
