About The Position
A family in Burlingame, CA 94010 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny to support their two children, ages 3 and 7 years old. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 9–10 hours per day (approximately 45–50 hours/week). The family lives in a smoke-free home with two small dogs (Shih Tzu and Maltipoo).
Requirements
- Previous professional childcare experience, including experience supporting children with special needs
- Experience using positive behavioral reinforcement techniques
- Ability to manage complex schedules and time-sensitive routines
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle required
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- First Aid/CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assist with morning routines, school preparation, and packing lunches/food for the children
- Provide transportation and support for therapy appointments and activities
- Supervise children during after-school activities, including waiting during scheduled activities as needed
- Support potty training and daily routines
- Prepare family meals and assist with children’s laundry
- Maintain a tidy and organized home environment
- Provide occasional dog walking as time allows
Benefits
