About The Position

We’re seeking a dedicated and dependable Housekeeper to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable space for our residents, staff, and visitors. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

• Can meet physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
• Is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy environment
• Demonstrates genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals

Responsibilities

• Scrub, mop, buff, polish, dust, and disinfect bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and common spaces
• Ensure paper products, soap, and other items are regularly replenished
• Engage respectfully with residents, visitors, and staff daily
• Utilize both household and industrial laundry equipment to clean resident and facility linens and clothing.
• Fold and stack linen neatly, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
• Ensure linens and laundry are delivered promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
• Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Deliver clothing directly to residents' rooms and ensure items are handled with care.
