About The Position

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing various cleaning duties. The job involves working 10-15 hours per week during the evenings in the Asheville Area North Carolina, specifically located in Arden, NC. The role requires attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring facilities are secure.

Requirements

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward
Contribute to the overall team including being in provided uniform, dependable, and on time
Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs
Ability to read cleaning instructions
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must
Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

Nice To Haves

Cleaning experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Use proper PPE where required
Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required
