About The Position

Housekeeper Employees must engage in providing cleanliness and good customer service. Ensures policies and procedures are followed by day-to-day operation. Must communicate and coordinate with all other departments. Responsible for attending all mandatory training and meetings. Must have ability to manage critical deadlines and priorities effectively and efficiently. Northern Arapaho Enterprises II and all subsidiaries follow Indian Preference in hiring and retention per federal law. Employees are expected to know existing Wind River Hotel & Casino policies and know to refer to those policies when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • 1 or more years’ experience in general housekeeping.
  • Ability to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Dependable, reliable and able to work alternating shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends.
  • Knowledge of how to run equipment.
  • Must be 18 at time of hire.
  • Ability to demonstrate US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
  • Valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Providing cleanliness and good customer service.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed by day-to-day operation.
  • Communicating and coordinating with all other departments.
  • Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming all gaming floors and restrooms.
  • Cleaning machines daily.
  • Shampooing chairs.
  • Emptying trash containers and cleaning them daily, inside and outside.
  • Performing deep cleaning daily.
  • Notifying manager or other supervisors about needs of the building or facility repairs, replacement of lights, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Attending all mandatory training and meetings.
  • Managing critical deadlines and priorities effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and in working condition.
  • Being on feet or standing for the full duration of the shift.
  • Performing all other duties assigned.
