About The Position

Fogelman is hiring a detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Chelsea Apartments, located in the St. Louis area. We seek dedicated associates who want to grow their skills with us! The ideal candidate possesses both housekeeping and groundskeeping experience with strong attention to detail, good customer service skills, and is a team player. The Housekeeper/Groundskeeper will be responsible for upkeep of the offices, amenities and common areas as well as cleaning vacant units. A valid Driver’s License is required for this position. Requirements

  • One year of housekeeping, groundskeeping, janitorial, or related property maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare vacant apartments and move-in units, including cleaning appliances, fixtures, countertops, bathrooms, carpets, and flooring.
  • Assist the maintenance team with apartment make-readies and unit turnovers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, common areas, breezeways, amenity spaces, leasing office, and exterior buildings.
  • Pick up and dispose of litter and debris throughout the property.
  • Remove trash from common areas and maintain dumpster and compactor areas, including operation and upkeep of the trash compactor.
  • Perform exterior cleaning duties, including pressure washing buildings, sidewalks, breezeways, and other community areas as needed.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including light bulb replacement and upkeep of pool and amenity areas.
  • Maintain inventory and care of all cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools owned by the property.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure the property is maintained to company standards and resident expectations.
  • Weekend work may be required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and Fair Housing requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
