About The Position
The Housekeeper/Floor Tech cleans and maintains floors and other areas in a residential facility. The role includes operating floor-maintenance equipment, performing routine deep cleaning and scheduled floor maintenance, and stocking and maintaining housekeeping supplies.
Responsibilities
- Operate floor-maintenance equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and wet/dry vacuums.
- Clean and maintain floors in resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, common areas, and offices.
- Perform routine deep cleaning and scheduled floor maintenance.
- Maintain a clean environment in the residential facility.
- Stock and maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Clean and sanitize floors, windows, mirrors, carpets, and upholstery.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, and dust and polish furniture.
