About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech and help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes caring for floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices while supporting a sanitary, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The position requires safe use of floor-care equipment, following infection-control and universal-precaution policies, and communicating with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous floor-care experience preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities
- Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Operate floor-care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain records of floor-care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precaution policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
