About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role supports a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The offered starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive daily tasks.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous floor care experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
