About The Position
This position with Presbyterian Healthcare Services performs a variety of routine environmental services duties, helping maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Responsibilities include upholding established cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. Requirements
- Less than high school.
- Less than one year experience in housekeeping
Responsibilities
- Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
- Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.
- Demonstrates awareness/understanding of PI Program, Excellence in action, Competencies, Mission & Vision of PRMC.
- Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
- Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.
- Performs departmental record keeping.
- Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
- Performs floor care.
