About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for moving furniture, organizing and tracking school supplies, and discarding unwanted furniture and school supplies. This position is part-time, after school hours, to assist with projects and clean up at the school, as needed.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Requires general knowledge of housekeeping and light maintenance.
• State Police FBI Child Abuse Clearances
• CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory supply accordingly.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity.
• Perform specific tasks requested by the Program Director.
• Ensures spaces are free from clutter/ tripping hazards, etc.
• Ensures furniture and supplies are discarded properly.
• Report issues related to the moving of furniture/supplies to the Program Director.
• When moving furniture, follow safety standards and safe lifting procedures.
• Receive supervision from and actively communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding program matters.
