Part Time Housekeeper / Cleaner – San Jose, CA
About The Position
A welcoming family in San Jose, California, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented private housekeeper to assist with light cleaning and organizing in an 1,800-square-foot home. The household is smoke-free and has no pets. The schedule is two days per week, with exact days flexible and no more than two to three days between visits. Each visit is limited to one hour, preferably between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Compensation is $33–$40 per hour. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The family is an equal opportunity employer. This is a private, family-hired position; caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy.
Requirements
- Experience with light cleaning and home organization.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to accommodate a maximum visit duration of one hour.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Subject to a background check.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum downstairs common areas, including the living room, kitchen, and two downstairs bathrooms.
- Load the dishwasher and clean the sink.
- Complete general tidying and light cleaning tasks.
- Assist with home organizing.
