About The Position

This role supports a safe and efficient manufacturing environment by performing routine and specialized cleaning duties. The associate will ensure all areas of the facility are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards. This includes maintaining restrooms, production areas, common areas, and outdoor spaces, as well as managing inventory and waste. The position also involves operating specialized equipment like floor scrubbers and forklifts.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
Capable of extended periods of standing, walking, bending, pulling, and pushing in an industrial environment.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
Basic literacy skills to understand safety procedures, labels, and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating forklifts and floor scrubbers preferred.
Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and stocked.
Track and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
Sweep and clean plant floors to minimize dust, debris, and safety hazards.
Perform floor stripping, waxing, sealing, and maintenance on hard-surface flooring.
Sweep, mop, scrub, burnish, and polish floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning products.
Address spills, stains, scuff marks, and high-traffic areas promptly.
Collect used ink hoppers from production areas and dispose of waste ink safely.
Clean and disinfect offices, locker rooms, break rooms, and designated smoking areas.
Empty trash bins throughout the facility and operate compactors.
Keep facility entrances, sidewalks, and loading dock areas free of debris, ice, or obstructions.
Operate floor scrubbers and forklifts, performing pre-use inspections.
Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Perform other housekeeping or facility-related duties as assigned.
