Floor Technician / Housekeeper

Requirements
- Reading, writing and math skills required
- General experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
Responsibilities
- Cleans floors in patient and non-patient care areas; demonstrates correct procedures and sufficient gross and fine motor skills in sweeping and mopping hard surfaces
- Carries out assignments in a timely manner; cleans areas thoroughly
- Uses proper materials and equipment for tasks, stocks unit regularly with all cleaning supplies and linen as needed
- Removes trash and waste from designated areas; ensuring safe and sanitary conditions
- Maintains documentation and records related to department operations; handwriting is legible
