Responsibilities

Maintain household organization systems, ensuring the home is consistently tidy and organized
Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
Seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
Event/holiday/guest prep
Packing/unpacking for travel
As needed: change batteries, light bulbs, etc.
Managing paper recycling 2x monthly
Wash/fold/organize laundry
Occasional ironing/steaming and special garment care
Linen rotation
Maintain tidy and well stocked laundry areas
Occasional pick-ups/drop-offs
Light supervision / back-up childcare as needed
Prep snacks for school
Kid-related errands
Date night coverage 1-2x monthly
Prep healthy meals/snacks
Occasional/as needed grocery shopping
Follow dietary needs/preferences (healthy, no beef)
Kitchen clean-up and maintenance: ie special care and use of marble countertops
Manage running household supply lists
Coordinate household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
Mail and package handling
Breakdown boxes
Occasional deep cleans (pantry, outdoor spaces)
Refresh garage/mudroom/entryway
Clean humidifiers/air purifiers
Organizational projects (toys, gear, closets)
Oversee maintenance/vendors as needed
Seasonal property maintenance
Manage outdoor spaces
Awareness of family calendar (including household schedules —skylight calendar bonus)
Receipt/budget tracking for expenses incurred as house manager
Travel planning and logistics (bonus)
