About The Position

Clean Harbors is seeking a part-time Household Hazardous Waste Technician I in Roseville, Minnesota, to support the CleanPack and Treatment and Disposal business. The role supports household hazardous waste and pesticide collection programs by handling hazardous materials and helping ensure safe, compliant operations. Requirements

• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
• Package waste properly to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly.
• Participate in spill response at customer sites as needed.
• Attend compliance and safety update meetings.
• Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Load and unload waste-hauling vehicles safely.
• Conduct waste-stream sampling and profiling as necessary.
• Follow local, state or provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Operate vehicles safely in accordance with U.S. DOT and applicable local, state or provincial, and federal requirements.
• Follow corporate operating guidelines and procedures and company environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
