About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a House Supervisor to join our team. The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse responsible for overseeing hospital operations and nursing care during assigned shifts, including staffing coordination, patient flow, and bed placement. They serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff and other departments, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure quality patient care. Additionally, they manage hospital-wide situations, assist with data monitoring, and assume administrative responsibilities in the absence of leadership. The ideal candidate would be someone who is very eager with effective communication skills that can show progressive growth with leadership experience - preferred.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • 1 year Nursing experience is required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required as per local affiliate guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
