ARMC House Supervisor - Per Diem
About The Position
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is seeking Per Diem House Supervisors to supervise and coordinate nursing activities and admissions for assigned areas to ensure continuity of patient care on a 24-hour basis. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and supervising hospital activities in patient services; coordinating staffing according to established guidelines; assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of assigned nursing and support staff; handling disciplinary and hiring actions; and overseeing the preparation and control of staff scheduling and payroll time and attendance processing.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital, which includes one (1) year of charge nurse experience. Experience may be concurrent.
- Two (2) additional years of experience as a Registered Nurse at an acute care hospital may substitute for the required charge nurse experience.
Nice To Haves
- Over 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting serving as a Charge Nurse.
- Over 5 years of experience in a behavioral health unit.
