About The Position

This position serves as the administrative representative after hours, on weekends, and holidays. The role involves assessing activities across all departments to ensure continuity of care, reporting pertinent information to management and administration, and providing continuous supervision, guidance, and direction to hospital personnel. The goal is to maintain quality clinical care while also ensuring prudent fiscal management of supplies and staffing. The supervisor is expected to create and maintain an environment that promotes mutual trust, acceptance, recognition, and respect, demonstrate personal and professional responsibility, and take accountability for their own professional development. They should also demonstrate and encourage team behavior, foster exceptional patient/guest experiences, and uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama
  • Two years management/supervisor experience
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

  • Bachelor of science degree in nursing
  • Five years' management/supervisor experience
