About The Position

The House Supervisor evaluates and supports patient care delivery under the guidance of the CNO. The role supports direct patient care when needed and provides administrative and clinical resources to employees during evenings, nights, and weekends. As the organization’s senior management person during those periods, the House Supervisor is responsible for operation of the entire hospital. The role serves as a liaison with department heads and the Medical Staff to support patient needs and organizational goals and objectives.

The position may involve handling human blood and other potentially infectious or hazardous materials, with possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or harmful elements.

Requirements

• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS upon hire.
• ABM, MAB, or CPI within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
• At least 2 years in a charge, nursing supervision, or management position.

• BSN preferred.
