About The Position

Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor (RN) for its Inpatient Rehab unit in Yorktown, VA. This full-time night position offers a competitive compensation package of $41.38 - $55.00 per hour, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

  • Valid state RN license required
  • Certified BLS before date of hire required
  • Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required
  • BSN or enrollment in BSN program required
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • 3 or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is required

Nice To Haves

  • CRRN required after meeting eligibility requirements (2 years of Rehab nursing)

Responsibilities

  • Administers, directs and supervises the clinical care being provided by the nursing staff, which includes all Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, and Unit Secretaries.
  • Serves as a resource and consultant for the clinical nursing care being rendered for the hospital.
  • Provides and oversees nursing care, safety, and quality while maintaining hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
  • Maintains approved standards of patient care, by collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Assists with disciplinary issues, staff mentoring and performance appraisals.
  • Provides oversight for the hospital in collaboration with and in the absence of the CNO.
  • Effectively communicates on multiple levels.
