About The Position

This role serves as the responsible supervisor for Memorial Medical Center during non-business hours, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and compliance with hospital policies and clinical practice standards. The supervisor oversees all MMC personnel on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; conducts frequent organizational rounds; and directs nursing staff in response to patient care needs, crises, and fluctuating patient activity. The position collaborates with multiple departments, manages after-hours O.R. scheduling, activates on-call teams for emergencies, coordinates with detention facilities, ensures regulatory compliance related to EMTALA and organ donation, and communicates significant issues to the Administrator on-call while documenting and reporting disciplinary concerns as needed. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. You will provide after-hours leadership, functions as a resource person for staff, assists in patient care, and is responsible for overall quality of patient care in the facility.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
  • One year of experience in Med Surge or ER required

Responsibilities
