About The Position

Anchor Home is seeking to promote from within and is opening a House Manager position to internal candidates who demonstrate leadership potential, strong performance, and a commitment to our mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is an opportunity for current employees to grow into a leadership position within our Residential Program. The House Manager serves as both a direct support professional leader and a key point of coordination for an assigned home(s). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the home, supporting and supervising DSP staff, and ensuring high-quality services are delivered consistently and safely. You will also provide direct support to individuals, promote community engagement, and help ensure each person is supported in achieving independence, choice, and meaningful life goals. Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Highly organized with strong administrative skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and strong commitment to professional growth

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience working with the population served preferred
  • CMT preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and support to DSP staff
  • Handle staff call-outs and coordinate shift coverage
  • Conduct monthly house meetings
  • Shadow, observe, coach, and provide feedback to DSPs in the home environment
  • Ensure staff are properly completing shift responsibilities, medication administration, and daily routines
  • Maintain timely communication with DSP staff and the administrative office
  • Review ICM daily for attendance, medication compliance, task completion, and incident follow-up
  • Verify medications in ICM
  • Respond appropriately to situations outside of normal daily operations
  • Maintain 24/7 on-call availability
  • Support individuals in community engagement and daily activities
  • Coordinate with day program staff regarding health or behavioral concerns
  • Purchase groceries and household supplies and submit receipts weekly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment
  • Promote individual choice, independence, relationship building, and personal achievement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
