About The Position

Mochi Health is revolutionizing healthcare by creating an AI-driven marketplace that connects patients with the right providers, transparent pharmacy pricing, and affordable medications. We are looking for an experienced and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence in San Francisco. This role is crucial for managing renovation and interior design projects, vendors, maintenance, scheduling, and overall household logistics. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, anticipating needs, and communicating effectively for approvals. This is a full-time, in-person position based at the private residence, requiring onsite presence for operations, renovations, vendor management, and other household needs. Occasional local travel and availability during evenings or weekends may be necessary.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a house manager, personal assistant, family assistant, estate assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Experience coordinating home renovations, construction, interior design projects, or complex vendor schedules.
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage calendars, deadlines, dependencies, and multiple active workstreams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion when working in a private home and handling sensitive information.
  • Comfortable communicating with contractors and vendors, documenting progress, and escalating issues early.
  • Flexible for occasional evening or weekend needs tied to events, urgent repairs, deliveries, or renovation work.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfort driving the homeowner's vehicle.
  • Comfortable with pets and routine household errands.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a founder, executive, or high-profile household.
  • Familiarity with household budgeting, expense tracking, invoice organization, and San Francisco service providers.
  • Experience with Google Calendar, Google Drive, spreadsheets, Notion, or similar task-management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day household operations, ensuring the home is organized, stocked, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Manage the household calendar for renovation milestones, vendor appointments, deliveries, repairs, installations, maintenance, and personal commitments.
  • Coordinate contractors, designers, architects, installers, and vendors for renovation and design projects, tracking timelines, dependencies, approvals, and outstanding items.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks, follow up on overdue tasks, resolve blockers, and escalate decisions to prevent renovation delays.
  • Be present for contractors, vendors, deliveries, repairs, and household appointments, granting access, documenting progress, and confirming satisfactory completion.
  • Maintain clear records for renovation progress, projects, vendor visits, orders, returns, receipts, payments, warranties, and outstanding tasks.
  • Coordinate household repairs and recurring maintenance, including obtaining quotes, scheduling, follow-up, and confirming completion.
  • Manage inventory and restocking of groceries, pantry items, toiletries, cleaning supplies, pet supplies, and other essentials.
  • Handle errands such as dry cleaning, returns, package management, prescription pick-ups, donations, gifting, mail processing, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Support house events and hosting needs, including coordinating vendor timing, catering deliveries, setup, decorating, guest supplies, and breakdown.
  • Coordinate pet care needs, including food and water, supply replenishment, and arranging care.
  • Drive the principal's vehicle as needed for service, repairs, detailing, fueling, charging, registration, and approved errands.
  • Provide concise updates on completed work, upcoming appointments, spending, delays, and items requiring approval.
