We are seeking an energetic, dedicated House Manager to join our Residential Youth program in Lawrence. Responsibilities include managing overall operations of our youth Residential program, working closely with Program Director in the establishment of program goals and objectives, and budget. Colleague and resource utilization and comprehensive community outreach. This role will supervise Residential Counselor Colleagues, Relief, Shift Leader and Awake Overnight Colleagues We are looking for a talented, highly flexible individual with a deep commitment to working as part of a skilled team, a positive attitude and a true passion for advocating for the Youth we serve, to assure that they are receiving a level of support consistent with best practices while incorporating our WOW! Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in field, may be waived if experience indicates competence.
Three years of experience in mental health setting.
Experience may be waived if additional education indicates competence.
Able to effectively set limits with Residents both on a routine basis and in high stress situations.
Must be able to effectively utilize verbal de-escalation techniques.
Proven supervisory skills.
Basic computer skills.
Must be able to maintain an environment that promotes learning, growth, and pride.
Flexible attitude with the ability to manage change and offer solutions

Responsibilities

Establish and monitor program operations to ensure compliance with Early Education and Care Licensing Standards and Rehabilitation Options regulations.
Develop and establish data collection systems and reporting procedures to report on all applicable program components to ensure contract compliance.
Develop and implement staffing patterns that are responsive to program needs and Residents schedules.
Oversees and monitors all representative payee services offered by the program, ensure strict adherence to agency standards and policy in relation to managing Resident funds.
Oversees and ensures the quality of all documents and services provided to Residents through daily communication via email or Kintone, monthly updates, quarterly reports and any required reporting in regards to financial management and medication administration or incident reporting.
Assist Clinical Care Manager in the development and monitoring of Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, Behavior Management Plans, and any specialized Resident behavioral planning.
Establish and coordinate regular contact with families, community collaterals, Department of Children and Families, neighborhood associations, educational liaisons and businesses towards the fulfillment of goals as dictated by individual interests and individualized treatment planning.
Knowledgeable of area wide disaster plans and preparedness.
Ensure overall safety of all program Residents during any eventuality.
Provide training on activities of daily living skills/community integration activities to Residents with various cognitive levels and symptomology using an individualized approach.
Able to accurately and timely document training and progress in written format.
Must be able to oversee charts to monitor all Resident’s progress.
Knowledgeable of policies and procedures of specified treatment model, Department of Early Education and Care and the Department of Children and Families in the areas of Human Rights and confidentiality.
Ability to assist Residents in applying for state and federal entitlements.
Possess the skills to gather and submit relevant documentation in support of obtaining such benefits.
Must complete twenty-four hours (per 40 hours) of training per calendar year.
Must attend and successfully complete Medication Administration Program, First Aid/CPR and OSHA.
Always maintain maximum safety conditions and cleanliness standards within the appropriate areas in accordance with licensing standards and program procedures as outlined by administrative Colleagues.
Able to effectively set limits with Residents both on a routine basis and in high stress situations.
Must be able to effectively utilize verbal de-escalation techniques.
Proper, professional dress and demeanor always required.
Must follow Residential Boundaries Agreement.
Possess the ability to lead and/or co-facilitate groups and/or trainings to Residents and families in support of program objectives.
When necessary, provide transportation when needed for Residents to access community resources using personal vehicle and must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have the ability to use a company van if required.
Must have the ability to provide effective service delivery and communication to people of varied cultural backgrounds.
Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, contingent upon Resident’s needs, which may include evenings, weekends, early AM shifts and Holidays.
Provide goal-oriented supervision to all Colleagues in all aspects of therapeutic residential programming.
Act as Supervisor ON-Call on a rotating basis providing 24-hour crisis intervention and support.
Possess knowledge of the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Early Education and Care Licensing Standards and Rehabilitation Options Guidelines.
Document, monitor and assist the Clinical Care Manager in the development of Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, Behavioral Planning and any specialized treatment needs.
Participate in various groups/committees, either internally or outside the agency as assigned, including facilitating support groups or in-services.
Establish and coordinate regular contact with families, funding sources, community treaters, educational liaisons and businesses towards the fulfillment of goals as dictated by Resident interests and individualized treatment planning.
Participate in evaluating job performance of residential colleagues as well as interviewing potential new hires.
Possess the ability to complete specific monthly requirements of funding source billing/reimbursement procedures.
