We are a busy, growing family of three (soon to be four!), living in Coppell, TX. Our current family dynamic includes a 2.5-year-old who attends daycare full-time, and we are expecting a baby in late March. Rounding out our crew is our beloved (and high-maintenance) 11-year-old beagle, who needs consistent care, so if you love animals, that’s a plus. Both parents work demanding full-time jobs, and the nature of our work means frequent travel, shifting schedules, and coordination that often feels like a game of Tetris. One of us works from home with regular client-facing travel, and the other is gone for 4-day stretches most weeks, with a rotating schedule of four-on-three-off. As a result, household logistics are challenging—especially during travel weeks, when tasks can pile up quickly. We don’t have family nearby, so finding reliable help is essential for keeping everything organized and running smoothly. We value efficiency and dependability, but we also believe in a flexible, low-stress home environment where we can focus on our kids and not worry about the “little things” that can pile up. Adaptability, autonomy, and a calm presence are crucial as we balance work, family, and our growing needs. We’re looking for a house manager who excels behind the scenes, taking care of the household’s day-to-day operations with minimal input. Ideally, you’ll operate independently and efficiently as a true partner who can help make our home life more efficient, organized, and peaceful. If you’re a capable self-starter, someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action without requiring constant direction, we’d love to meet you. Our ideal candidate is: Proactive and Self-Sufficient: You assess what needs doing and take care of it without needing to be asked. You’re comfortable making decisions on your own, especially when one or both of us is traveling. Systems-Minded (But Flexible): You can establish simple, effective systems for managing household tasks—things like organizing, laundry, grocery shopping, and errands. But flexibility is key because family schedules change, and we need you to roll with the punches. Calm Under Pressure: With our travel schedules and young kids, things can get chaotic. You excel at keeping calm and carrying on, juggling multiple priorities, and responding to changes in the plan quickly and effectively. Independent but Communicative: You’ll be working independently, often without direct supervision, but we expect someone who can keep us in the loop with quick updates as needed. Trustworthy and Reliable: You can be depended on to handle household responsibilities without reminders and navigate situations with discretion and professionalism.
