One parent is a senior executive with a demanding job and regular travel commitments. The other parent commutes several days a week to the office and has a more flexible schedule, but when flying solo during travel weeks, it can be a challenge. There simply aren’t enough hands (or hours in the day!) to juggle getting both kids to their weekly activities, managing household duties, and ensuring everything stays organized and running smoothly. Our home is always bustling, and we need someone who can manage the household’s ebb and flow while keeping it calm and organized. We rely on our Skylight calendar app to keep everything coordinated, and we’re looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our system to manage the details. Despite our busy schedules, we cherish family time and love being together. We believe in making our home a peaceful place where we can recharge, and we need someone who can help us create that environment while supporting our family’s needs. We love the idea of someone who is as creative as we are when it comes to making the holidays and special occasions fun for the kids—whether it's helping with seasonal crafts, putting together thoughtful birthday celebrations, or creating magical holiday moments like Elf on the Shelf. We’re looking for a warm, proactive individual who will integrate into our family’s rhythm, anticipate our needs, and engage with our kids in meaningful, joyful ways. Who We're Looking For We need someone who can take ownership of managing the house while also being genuinely invested in our children's well-being. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who doesn’t need to be micromanaged, but can handle the ever-changing rhythm of a busy family life with confidence and grace. You will be responsible for managing the details of our household and keeping everything running smoothly, allowing us to focus on the bigger picture—work, family, and the moments that matter most. Our ideal person is calm under pressure, flexible, and able to juggle the day-to-day tasks that keep our home organized. You should have a 'got it covered' attitude, stepping in wherever needed and anticipating what’s next. This is a role where you’ll have the freedom to work independently, but we want someone who is also communicative and can keep us in the loop—especially if there’s something we need to address with the kids or the household. You’ll need to be active enough to keep up with our two energetic kids—whether it’s helping with some impromptu backyard basketball practice, preparing an activity bag for dance, or just engaging with them in conversation. If you're someone who loves to make a home feel inviting and organized, while also creating delightful, enriching experiences for children, you’ll be a great fit. Our ideal candidate will: Be highly detail-oriented, with a knack for keeping things organized and running smoothly. Have a genuine love for children and be actively engaged in their daily routines and activities. Be flexible and adaptable, especially in adjusting to our shifting schedules and travel needs. Have a calm presence and be able to read the room, especially when both parents are working from home. Bring creativity to seasonal projects, holidays, and everyday family activities.
