About The Position

We are a busy, loving family of five with three children (ages 7, 6, and 4). Both parents are successful entrepreneurs, running a thriving marketing business, which keeps our days full but rewarding. We also have two lovable Bernedoodles—one who's well-trained and another who is still a puppy —bringing even more joy (and a bit of chaos) to our home. Our family truly values organization, cleanliness, and thoughtful, proactive support that makes everyday life easier. We strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where everything runs smoothly, and we’re looking for a kind, detail-oriented House Manager to help us maintain that balance. This person will play a vital role in supporting our daily routines, from meal prep and keeping our home organized to assisting with family logistics. You are a highly organized, proactive individual with a passion for creating order and structure. Requirements

  • Can maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Has reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided for errands completed during working hours)
  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable handling occasional childcare backup and light pet care
  • Strong organizational skills and a love for maintaining order
  • The ability to take initiative and anticipate needs

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize household systems (closets, pantry, storage)
  • Tidy and reset rooms daily; prep home for bi-weekly cleaning services
  • Conduct seasonal clothing swaps and oversee donations
  • Assist with packing/unpacking for travel and events
  • Coordinate with service providers (cleaners, landscapers, etc.)
  • Keep the home stocked with necessary supplies and groceries
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders from retailers like Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.
  • Run errands, including grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping
  • Plan and prep simple, healthy meals for the family with guidance (3x per week)
  • Shop for groceries based on meal planning needs using meal-delivery service
  • Clean and maintain kitchen organization post-prep and overall tidiness
  • Manage family schedules, appointments, and email inbox, including coordinating kids’ activities and handling accepting of birthday invitations
  • Provide reminders, including managing tasks like scheduling important meetings, ordering birthday cakes as examples
  • Help with travel coordination and scheduling
  • Plan and assist with birthday parties, dinner party events, and family logistics including table setting, meal organization, and serving logistics during the event
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry, including clothing, bedding, and towels
  • Iron dress shirts and napkins, steam linens, and prepare outfits as needed
  • Manage linens by rotating bedding, refreshing towels, and restocking essentials
  • Maintain tidy laundry areas, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Assist with light pet care when needed (ensuring dogs are fed, letting dogs out into backyard)
  • Coordinate vet and grooming appointments
  • Provide support when primary childcare is unavailable
