About The Position

We are a vibrant and creative family navigating busy lives as parents working in the arts. Our schedules vary, with some seasons where one of us has intense production periods and others when we're both working from home. We’re seeking to establish systems that will help maintain a smooth household when our work takes us outside the home. Our children (ages 11, 8, and 3) are energetic, with the older two in school and the youngest in preschool. Mornings are hectic as we juggle getting everyone out the door. Our afternoons are filled with activities like gymnastics, coding classes, and piano lessons. While we’re committed to family time, our busy work schedules often leave us feeling overwhelmed by household tasks. We're looking for someone organized, proactive, and reliable to manage day-to-day tasks, allowing us to stay more present and focused on our children. We need someone who can keep up with our energetic family and provide the support necessary to keep things running smoothly. Experience with managing projects is essential—whether it's reorganizing playrooms, transitioning spaces for the kids, or managing seasonal transitions. The role requires an individual who can pivot between tasks with ease, from handling day-to-day organization to tackling larger projects like managing health appointments or coordinating travel plans. You should be independent, yet work collaboratively as part of our family team. We are looking for someone who is warm, energetic, and proactive—able to balance being present with our children while supporting the overall flow of a bustling household. Our family is ambitious in our living, and we value someone who is equally invested in our children’s growth and our home’s well-being. The ideal candidate will be kind, supportive, and deeply committed to making our family life run smoothly. You love the art of organization, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative to stay ahead of the many tasks that need to be managed. You bring with you a calm demeanor and the ability to establish an organized flow within our household, ensuring nothing gets forgotten, and will proactively tackle responsibilities before they become overwhelming. Patience, punctuality, and flexibility are key attributes for success in this position. Our ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, competent, and an excellent communicator, while maintaining a good sense of humor in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stay upbeat and warm, even in the most hectic moments, will be appreciated in our lively, family-centered home. Additionally, we seek someone who is comfortable with occasional travel, particularly during summer trips, to be an extra set of hands with the kids. A passport is required, as we may need someone to travel with us on occasion, internationally as well. Above all, the candidate should be excited about the opportunity to help a young family recalibrate, keeping things organized, on track, and fun. A flexible mindset, a team-player attitude, and an understanding of the 'art of the pivot' will be essential.
