Requirements

Household Management Experience: You have run your own household or have worked in a House Manager position before.
Professional Communication: You value direct communication and are open to feedback.
Proactive and Organized: Able to create and maintain systems for a busy household.
Project Coordinator Mindset: Able to wear multiple hats, self-motivated to plan and execute independently, and provide essential home support to keep everything organized and running smoothly.
Flexible Schedule: Adaptable to home/family needs and willing to pivot as needed for day to day priorities or parents work travel.
Strong Emotional Intelligence: Capable of anticipating the needs of the family. You can read the room, adjusting your approach depending on the moment. You know how to adapt to the unique dynamics of teenagers, offering help without being intrusive.
Meal Prep: Experience in meal prep and weekly planning, with a focus on family friendly gluten free options.

Responsibilities

Maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry)
Reset and tidy rooms daily, ensuring the home is prepped for cleaning services
Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas
Oversee household schedules and calendars
Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.)
Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays
Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs and pickups
Supervise or coordinate with service providers/vendors (handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
Create and manage household supply lists
Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping)
Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries
Plan and prep gluten-free meals/snacks for adults and kids
Align with family preferences and meal systems and shop for groceries and meal-related items
Ensure safe meal prep for gluten-free dietary needs
Clean kitchen post-prep and maintain kitchen tidiness
Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (clothing, bedding, towels).
Manage linens, rotate bedding, refresh towels, and restock essentials
Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
Handle special care for delicates or uniforms
Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized weekly
Clean and support stocking of camper van for trips as needed
Assist with transportation for teenage son after school and to activities
Provide light supervision and mindful oversight for teen after-school
Tackle occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.)
Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)
Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly
Organize special projects (seasonal decorations, gear rotation)
Supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance
Manage property-specific systems (hot tub maintenance and seasonal vegetable garden assistance)
