About The Position

Clean and maintain the hotel's public areas in accordance with the brand/hotel's established guest service and sustainability standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training preferred.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, bending, and kneeling to reach all areas.
• Use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks as needed.
• Collect trash from service areas and dispose of it in exterior trash receptacles.
• Vacuum and dust guest hallways.
• Collect linens and sheets from hotel floors and transport them to the laundry collection area.
• Deliver clean linens to assigned sections.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest areas.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance.
• Work as a room service attendant during staff shortages or peak periods.
• Be mindful of guest satisfaction scores and work to increase overall and departmental guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits, use protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
