The House Attendant-Lobby is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel. Responsibilities may include deep cleaning of assigned areas, setting-up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions such as coffee service and nightly concierge events, cleaning and setting-up meeting room functions, delivering service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk, and driving a shuttle van when needed (property specific). The role requires approaching all guest and associate encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner, maintaining regular attendance, and adhering to high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag. Compliance with safety and efficiency standards is crucial, along with practicing safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and oneself. The attendant must handle requests for luggage assistance, lost and found items, and turn in keys and assignment sheets at the end of the shift. Completing daily assignment checklists, understanding hotel policies, and ensuring attentive, friendly, and courteous service to all are key duties. Proper storage and maintenance of hotel equipment are also expected, along with assisting in emergency procedures and completing special projects or other duties as assigned by management.
