BMW Service Center, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an Hourly Technician to join their team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. As an Hourly Technician, you will perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.
Requirements

- Dealership experience.

- Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to listen to customer and determine how to assist them.
- Maintains positive attitude.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills and works well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required.
- Previous Automotive Technician experience or recent completion of automotive tech trade school preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.
- Ensure our customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in vehicle repairs.
- Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards.
- Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors.
- Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work.
- Ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
- Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
