About The Position

PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) is a fast-casual restaurant concept focused on serving high-quality, scratch-made food. We are seeking Hourly Restaurant Managers to assist the Operating Director in leading restaurant operations. The manager will be responsible for providing direction, training, and ensuring guest expectations are exceeded, team members are treated with respect, and business goals are met during each shift. This role involves managing both front and back-of-house operations, focusing on quality, product ordering, receiving, scheduling, and efficient shift management. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret P&L statements, operate the business according to PDQ standards, and foster a diverse and respectful work environment. We are looking for individuals passionate about guest service and creating a positive team member experience.

Requirements

Excellent people and Guest service skills
Fully proficient in all aspects of the kitchen
2+ years of experience in roles such as shift manager or assistant restaurant manager
Experience in restaurants such as Chick-fil-a, Chipotle, or Panera Bread
Ability to read, interpret and positively impact P&L statements

Responsibilities

Provide direction, training, and skill development to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.
Ensure team members are treated fairly and with respect.
Achieve business goals for each shift.
Manage both Front and Heart of the House operations.
Relentlessly focus on quality and meeting or exceeding standards.
Responsible for all product ordering and receiving.
Responsible for scheduling and running efficient shifts of Team Members.
Read, interpret, and positively impact P&L statements.
Operate the business in accordance with strict PDQ standards.
Cultivate a diverse culture for our Team Members where they are safe, secure and free from harassment.
Coach and teach our Team Members while recognizing and rewarding performance as well as effort.
