About The Position

Milk & Honey is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Supervisor to help lead a high-energy team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences. Milk & Honey restaurants bring Southern hospitality to dining. From flaky, butter-glazed biscuits to Old Bay Wings and our award-winning Shrimp & Grits, every dish is made from scratch and full of flavor. Whether guests join us for a laid-back brunch or a lively dinner and cocktails, they can expect an ambiance and experience that’s just as inviting as our food. In this role, you’ll take on an important leadership position—overseeing daily operations, supporting and motivating team members, and ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued. You’ll help cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in restaurant operations, including inventory management and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to upholding them.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours).
  • Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, highchairs, booster seats).
  • Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
  • Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Lead, coach, and support team members to maintain high performance and morale
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
  • Monitor service standards, food quality, and cleanliness to uphold brand expectations
  • Assist with shift coverage, and labor management
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing development for team members
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Handle cash management tasks, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to meet operational goals and drive business performance
