About The Position

EJ has an immediate opening for Custodial Maintenance on 2nd shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm) starting at $23.30 up to $26.26 an hour at the Elmira, MI location. EJ is the leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications, and utility networks. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Industrial vehicle/equipment license where applicable.
Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
Frequently required to walk.
Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs.
Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to successfully pass the respirator testing protocol and wear a respirator as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely cleans the plant.
Cleans the plant
Uses power and/or hand tools per work instruction database and associated information systems
May drive industrial equipment to move materials
Uses computer to obtain and or input information
May be assigned to jobs in other departments
May aid in training of others
Provides suggestions for improvement of all of our systems
