About The Position

The Hotels and Hospitality Summer Internship at JLL offers an opportunity to begin a career in commercial real estate while learning in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment. Interns work alongside real estate analysts, transaction professionals, and other associates, gaining insight into the hotel real estate industry. The position assists analysts with research, writing, and analysis of market information. It is based on-site in Miami, Florida. The internship does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, Excel, and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-player attitude.
• Must have completed at least three years of college.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Adobe, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Assist with historical P&L reviews, STR analyses, and operating benchmarks.
• Prepare and write market research.
• Obtain and analyze market information and statistics.
• Research and analyze demographic trends.
• Assist in the due diligence process.
• Value listings and proposed listings in Excel.
• Review and summarize ground leases through lease abstracting.
• Review and summarize operating agreements.
• Assist in the design and preparation of teasers and books.
• Create appropriate charts and other graphic materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
