About The Position

We are looking for a responsible person to watch over a parking lot during the night shift (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This job includes checking cars, keeping records, helping guests, and making sure the parking lot is safe and organized. You will often work outside and may work alone. The main goal of this job is to help guests and keep the parking lot safe, clean, and organized. The Overnight Parking Lot Attendant makes sure people follow parking rules and helps anyone who has questions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years
  • Pass a background check
  • Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outside in different weather conditions
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stay alert and report safety problems
  • May need to use personal cell phone for work communication

Responsibilities

  • Count cars in the parking lot and check tickets and records to make sure everything matches. If something doesn’t match, you will fix the records and report the issue.
  • Watch cars as they enter and leave the parking lot. Make sure vehicles are parked correctly and that all tickets match the cars. Report cars parked where they should not be.
  • Write reports at the end of your shift, including how many tickets were given, how many cars parked, and any problems that happened.
  • Check the parking lot often to make sure it is safe, including checking lights, signs, cameras, and parking lines. Report anything suspicious or unsafe.
  • Help keep the parking lot clean and safe, ensuring cones, signs, and other equipment are in good condition and that there is no trash or dangerous objects on the ground.
  • Help guests with questions and give directions when needed. Be polite, listen carefully, and communicate clearly with both guests and coworkers.
  • Show up on time, follow company rules, and behave professionally while working.
  • Sometimes you may be asked to do other tasks, attend meetings, or complete training.
