About The Position

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time, overnight Luxury Hotel Security Officer for the new Remi Hotel, an Autograph Collection property in downtown Scottsdale's Entertainment District. This 161-room hotel blends western elements with modern design and features five distinct food and beverage outlets. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of guests, associates, and property, particularly during overnight hours, in a vibrant and exciting environment adjacent to the Maya Day + Nightclub.

Requirements

• Requires grasping, lifting, and/or carrying or otherwise moving persons, packages, luggage, wheelchairs, and safety equipment using manual dexterity of hands.
• Requires verbal communication using device, bending, stooping, and kneeling.

Nice To Haves

• One year of hotel security experience is highly preferred.
• Marriott brand knowledge is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols, walking and climbing stairs of the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
• Maintain order in the hotel, address guest welfare, and assist with door lock problems.
• Coordinate response to emergency conditions such as fire, safety hazards, and threats to life or property.
• Handle undesired conduct and potential violations of hotel policy.
• Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around the building and conduct walk-through observations of the entire hotel.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Answer security telephone and safety calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority.
• Monitor security cameras for unusual activity and report suspicious behavior or alarms to the supervisor on duty via radio.
• Memorize and monitor the life safety system, including building layout, alarm pull stations, and the location of fire extinguishers and sprinklers.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
