About The Position

Cleans hotel rooms and halls by performing housekeeping duties in accordance with franchise standards and required timeframes. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and common areas, handling linens, replenishing supplies, maintaining housekeeping carts and equipment, and following guest privacy, security, and safety procedures. The attendant also communicates room needs to the maintenance department and follows KHC policies, property guidelines, dress code, safety and performance standards, and scheduled work hours.

Requirements

Follow KHC policies and procedures, property-specific guidelines, and safety precautions.
Be able to perform the described physical duties, including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and frequently climbing or balancing.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Have close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Clean hotel guestrooms and common areas, including lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens.
Clean rooms to franchise standards and within required timeframes, including making beds; dusting; washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills; cleaning floors; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; and cleaning bathroom fixtures and showers.
Replenish bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, writing supplies, and other supplies.
Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to meet franchise requirements.
Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replace light bulbs.
Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment.
Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner.
Follow key control and security policies to protect guest privacy and personal belongings while working in guestrooms.
Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, damage, or accidents.
Communicate room needs to the maintenance department.
Follow KHC policies and procedures and property-specific guidelines, including dress code, safety, and performance standards; maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled.
