Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting (required)
  • Working knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to move efficiently through a busy kitchen and manage multiple tasks at once
  • A strong commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Availability to work weekends (required)
  • A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for quality food

Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment prior to service
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
  • Cook food using a variety of techniques, utensils, and equipment including grills and stovetops
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly kitchen environment at all times
  • Ensure all food and ingredients are stored correctly and safely
  • Inspect the quality of ingredients before use and flag any concerns to management
